Health Plus and Occupational Health Clinic observe Great American Smokeout today

The American Cancer Society is marking the 37th Great American Smokeout today by encouraging smokers to use the date to quit smoking or make a plan to quit.

By quitting — even for one day — smokers will be taking an important step towards a healthier life, a life that can lead to reducing cancer risk.
Tobacco use remains the single largest preventable cause of disease and premature death in the United States, yet more than 45 million Americans still smoke cigarettes.

Get a Quit Kit for yourself or someone you care about. Visit Health Plus or the Occupational Health Clinic to pick one up on Nov. 15, or call 343-8943 to have one sent to you via campus mail.
