Lady Antebellum holiday special highlighting Children's Hospital adds additional air dates

Country group Lady Antebellum's holiday special, "On this Winter's Night," which airs several times this week on the GAC (Great American Country) network, has a segment featuring footage of group members visiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The program includes songs from a concert the group performed at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

Air times for the show are Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m.; Thursday Dec. 13, at 10 a.m.; Sunday, Dec. 16, at 9 p.m. and at midnight; Monday, Dec. 17, noon; Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 10 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 22, at 8 p.m.; and Christmas Day at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

GAC is available via cable and satellite in more than 58 million U.S. households.

Lady Antebellum has also launched a new charitable initiative called LadyAID, a philanthropic effort created to bring awareness to and generate support for children in need locally, nationally and globally.

The multi-level organization will award grants to help children throughout Tennessee, including to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. On a national level, the fund will support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and on a global level, myLIFEspeaks and The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). The LadyAID Fund is a component fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
