Medical Education Grand Rounds on "An Alternative Approach to Helping Students Learn" to be April 4

The next Medical Education Grand Rounds will be at noon on Thursday, April 4, in 208 Light Hall.

Co-sponsored with the Dean's Lecture Series John E. Chapman Lecture in Medical Education, the topic will be "An Alternative Approach to Helping Students Learn: Combining the Flipped Classroom and Peer Instruction."

The speaker will be Eric Mazur, Ph.D., Balkanski Professor of Physics and Applied Physics and area dean of Applied Physics at Harvard University.

Mazur will be awarded the John E. Chapman Medal after his presentation.
