Postdoctoral Research and Shared Resources Symposium to be Tuesday, April 30
The Seventh Annual Postdoctoral Research and Shared Resources Symposium — sponsored by the Biomedical Research, Education and Training (BRET) Office Postdoctoral Association, the Vanderbilt Medical Alumni Association, and the Office of Research — is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30.
This daylong event will include short talks from postdoctoral researchers and shared resource directors, a scientific poster competition and judging, and a keynote address by Janet Wolfe, president and CEO of Wolfe Laboratories, a biopharmaceutical development services company. Prizes will be awarded for Postdoc of the Year (sponsored by the VMAA), Mentor of the Year, and best poster in multiple categories. The Office of Research will be sponsoring additional awards as well. New this year, we will be awarding two Distinguished Postdoctoral Oral Presentation Awards.
