WellFEST health fair accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing to be Saturday, April 13
Bridges’ fifth annual WellFEST is Saturday, April 13, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Nashville Public Library.
Bridges is a resource for interpreting, education and youth services for the deaf, hard of hearing and hearing communities.
This health fair is the only one of its kind, with everything fully accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing community through sign language, interpreters and assistive technology. This year's event will include a variety of health screenings, fitness demonstrations, speakers and information booths.
Vanderbilt University organizations participating in the event include the Bill Wilkerson Center, Communities And Students Together for Learning-Enhanced Service (CASTLES), the Coalition for Healthy Aging and the Vanderbilt Stroke Center.
This event is free and open to the public. To register or for more information, visit www.hearingbridges.org.
