Wellness credit survey goes out this week; also Health Plus move update

This week a survey will be sent by email to faculty and staff who have earned the Go for the Gold Wellness Credit for 2014. Using this survey faculty and staff may elect to apply the credit toward the Health Plan Account or membership at the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. The default, if no option is selected, will be to the Health Plan Account.

Faculty and staff who are paying for Vanderbilt health plan benefits and participated in Go for the Gold this year will have the option to apply the Go for the Gold wellness credit toward membership at the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center or towards the health plan.

The Health Plus offices are relocating to the new Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. Health Plus will continue to offer programs and services to support faculty and staff in leading a healthier and more productive life.

In this new location, faculty and staff will enjoy extended hours, more parking options and amenities including a pool, indoor and outdoor track, more than 80 group fitness classes a week, a demo kitchen and more.

The last day for the Kensington Garage location is Dec. 21. Faculty and staff are invited to try out the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center, at no cost, during Open House, Sunday, Dec. 22, to Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014. Membership will be required beginning Jan. 6.
