Prenatal care access for urban women to be topic of Jan. 10 presentation

Results from a mini grant funded project sponsored by the Community Engaged Research Core, "Prenatal Care Access for Urban Women," will be shared at a presentation from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, at Coleman Community Center, 384 Thompson Lane.

Presenters Julie Phillipi, Ph.D., of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, and Kate Payne, of the Franklin Road Women’s Health Center, will share the results of interviews conducted with minority women who have sought services at the Franklin Road Women’s Health Clinic.

Results from this project will inform planning, care, and extension services for women from refugee and immigrant communities seeking prenatal care.
