Wilkins to present during AAMC webinar series, Wednesday, Feb. 19

Consuelo H. Wilkins, M.D., MSCI, executive director of the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance and associate professor of Medicine, will present during the AAMC Learning Health System Challenge Award Winners Webinar Series at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19.

The Challenge Awards recognize innovations in medical education, care delivery, research, diversity and inclusion. As an award winner, Wilkins will present on "Strengthening Research Capacity through Community Engagement." She will discuss the Community Engagement Studio, an innovative approach to engaging patients, consumers and community members in research, which allows researchers to obtain direct input from representative groups to enhance their research questions, design, implementation, translation and/or dissemination.

This webinar will also feature Joseph Betancourt, M.D., MPH, director of the Disparities Solutions Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.
