Benitez named to Air Pollution Control Board

John Benitez, M.D., MPH, associate professor of Emergency Medicine and Clinical Medicine and managing director of the Tennessee Poison Center, has been named to the Tennessee State Air Pollution Control Board.

The appointment was announced last week by Gov. Bill Haslam as he announced the appointments to fill 45 state boards and commissions.

"Tennessee will be well-represented on these boards and commissions, and I want to thank these men and women for their commitment to serve their fellow Tennesseans," Haslam said in a statement.
