Bedside Matters rounds to be tomorrow
The next Bedside Matters, an hour-long, monthly rounds geared toward helping Vanderbilt University Medical Center health care providers deal with the social and emotional issues of caring for patients and families, will take place on Wednesday, July 16.
The brownbag panel discussion lunch event, held in 202 Light Hall from noon to 12:55 p.m., is titled: “Connective Tissue and Collaborative Connections.” A question and answer session will follow the panel discussion.
The forum will be facilitated by Walter Merrill, M.D., and Roy Elam, M.D., medical director of the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Vanderbilt (OCIM). Panelists include OCIM staff Tobi Fishel, Ph.D., director of Psychological Services, Kathryn Hansen, MSN, a nurse practitioner, and Cynthia Allen, a physical therapist.
The free event is open to VUMC staff, faculty and students. No registration is required. CME, CEU and Contact Hours will be offered.
