Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center open house is tomorrow
The Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center (MMPC) will celebrate its newly renovated space with a ribbon cutting and open house on June 24 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Light Hall, rooms 835-856. The entrance is directly across from the elevators.
Founded in 2001 and directed by David Wasserman, Ph.D., the MMPC is one of five federally funded mouse research centers. It provides phenotyping services for mouse models of metabolic disease and has aided the identification of candidate genes for diabetes, obesity and other metabolic disorders.
