Researchers seeking children with a caregiver for participation in a study

Researchers at Vanderbilt University are trying to understand interests and attention in young children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years.

If you and your child participate in the study, you will be asked to complete some questionnaires. Your child will be given a couple of tests to determine his or her developmental level. Your child will also be asked to complete two picture-viewing tasks. During one of the tasks, your child will be watching images on a computer screen. During the second task, your child will wear a cap that will monitor his or her brain responses.

You will be paid $40 for your visit to the lab.

If you are interested in participating, or if you have any questions, please contact Kathryn Unruh at bodfishlab@vanderbilt.edu with the email subject “Study Participation” or by phone at 615-936-4092.

This study was approved by the Behavioral and Social Sciences IRB at Vanderbilt University (IRB# 140436) on 4-3-2015.
