RFP: Mini grants for community-academic research partnerships
The Meharry-Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core invites proposals for mutually beneficial, health-oriented research partnerships between community organizations and academic researchers.
Applicants may propose a community-engaged research project (up to $10,000) or a partnership building project (up to $2,500) that enables partners to pursue an identified research agenda with the ultimate goal of improving community health outcomes, increasing access to health and health-related services, enhancing quality and effectiveness of health interventions and/or informing future health policy.
Applicants must attend an information session:
• Aug. 27, 3-4 p.m. at Vanderbilt's Peabody Campus, Wyatt Building Room 322
• Aug. 31, 2-3:30 p.m. at Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance, 1999 Meharry Drive and by WEBINAR
• Sept. 8, 1-2:30 p.m. at United Way of Metro Nashville, 250 Venture Circle, Room 103
• Sept. 16, 1:30-3 p.m. at Vanderbilt Institute for Medicine and Public Health, 2525 West End Ave., 6th Floor Board Room
