Bedside Matters rounds on patient pain set for tomorrow
The next Bedside Matters Forum will be Wednesday, Aug. 19, at noon in 202 Light Hall. The presenters will include Roy Elam, M.D., associate professor of Medicine, and Kathryn Hanson, MSN, R.N., a nurse practitioner in Integrative Medicine, and the topic will be "Improving Function in a Patient with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome."
This series of rounds is held the third Wednesday of every month, and is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between patients and caregivers by discussing important emotional and social issues that arise in caring for patients and their families.
