Quality and Patient Safety forum set for Friday, Oct. 23A daylong forum on Quality and Patient Safety will be held at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at the Strategy and Innovation Center in the 3401 building on West End Avenue.
For this event, the Department of Quality, Safety, and Risk Prevention has partnered with Vanderbilt experts to level the knowledge base surrounding enterprise-wide quality and safety performance goals. This is also an opportunity for staff to identify deficiencies within their respective areas and discuss remedial measures.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Nursing Education and Professional Development, is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Tennessee Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Registration begins at 8 a.m.
The number of registrants is limited to 70.
Lunch will be provided, as well as coffee/drinks and snacks throughout the day.
Due to parking restrictions, transportation to the 3401 building will be provided using the Vanderbilt shuttle service. Plan on using the Purple Route shuttle, which arrives at 3401 every 15 minutes.
Participants rotate every 45 minutes to a new session, allowing for small group discussion and an interactive question and answer session.
