Conversation Studio, a CS 2.0 enterprise-wide town hall, set for Monday, Oct. 5Conversation Studio, A CS 2.0 enterprise-wide town hall. will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, in 202 Light Hall.

In the next few months, an announcement will be made about the new clinical system coming to VUMC. This is a Conversation Studio about the selection of the IT vendor and plans for the implementation and training process for the new clinical system, called CS 2.0 that will take place between 2016 through early 2018.
To date, more than 750 VUMC leaders and staff have been involved in selecting the IT vendor with the strongest capabilities to support the development of our next clinical system. The decision between the two finalists Epic and Cerner will be announced shortly and the implementation process will begin.
It is important that everyone at VUMC has the opportunity to understand the evaluation process and how decisions are being made, since this new clinical system will affect all of our patients and everyone responsible for delivering that care. Come and hear Kevin Johnson, M.D., leader of the vendor selection process, lead this interactive conversation about the new clinical system.
Expect a lively, informative session with ample opportunity for Q&A.
