2016 Conte Center Pilot Project Grants announced
The Vanderbilt Conte Center for Neuroscience Research has announced the call for applications for 2016 Conte Center Pilot Project Grants.
This Pilot Grant Program is made possible by an endowment from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and awards pilot funds for studies that further advance the knowledge of serotonin gene and protein networks.
Eligible applicants will have a faculty level appointment in the School of Medicine or College of Arts and Sciences, with a project concept related to serotonin, including but not limited to serotonergic networks, genetic variation, receptors, etc.
Applications should include:
• Copy of current bio-sketch
• Application, including budget and detailed research plans (limit of two pages)
• IRB/IACUC approval, if applicable
Submission deadline for applications is March 1 and funding will begin April 1.
