Center for Science Outreach participating in public school LEGO drive

The Vanderbilt Center for Science Outreach "Scientist in the Classroom" program at Hattie Cotton STEM Magnet Elementary School is requesting donations of used or new LEGOs for its program. The LEGOs are used by the students to develop STEM skills like experimenting, inventing, creating, design and problem solving.

Donations of LEGOs may be brought to program participant Cristina Harmelink, research fellow in Pediatric Cardiology, in room 9435A of MRB IV, or brought to the Hattie Cotton Elementary STEM coordinator, Amanda Scarpielletti, at the school at 1033 West Greenwood Ave. in Nashville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on school days.
