Giant inflatable colon on hospital plaza heralds a day of colon cancer awareness

Vanderbilt Health and Wellness is hosting a full day of colon cancer awareness events today, including a giant inflatable colon set up on the Vanderbilt University Hospital plaza until 6 p.m. and an expo in Light Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with representatives from many groups, including all Vanderbilt Health and Wellness departments, the GI Clinic, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network, the American Cancer Sociecty, Colon Cancer Alliance and Gilda’s Club.
