EpicLeap Space Station events continue
From Mitch Edgeworth, Cecelia Moore, and Kevin Johnson, EpicLeap executive co-sponsors:
We invite and encourage everyone in VUMC to attend an EpicLeap Space Station for approximately 10 minutes.
VUMC President and CEO Jeff Balser, M.D., Ph.D., announced EpicLeap as one of the Medical Center’s top four priorities for the upcoming year, noting its historical mission of making care seamless for patients. In an effort to build excitement about EpicLeap and bring VUMC colleagues up to speed with where we are on the project, preparations are underway for 10 EpicLeap Space Stations slated Sept. 19 – 28.
Attending a Space Station will help you communicate with others, be prepared, and stay informed. Come learn more about EpicLeap, ask questions, play fun interactive games, grab a snack, and leave with an EpicLeap-branded gift.
At our April EpicLeap launch, we shared the process and timeline for your engagement in this VUMC enterprise-wide ecosystem that supports and impacts our technology, operations, and clinical needs. In the last three months, more than 1,000 VUMC employees have been engaged in analyzing current and future workflows, and/or building the first prototype of our EpicLeap system. Testing begins next year, and then 20,000 VUMC employees will be trained in fall of 2017 — less than a year away.
Mark your calendars and visit an EpicLeap Space Station below.
