Box.com to discontinue support for Internet Explorer 9 and 10 browsers
On Sept. 26, 2016, Box.com will discontinue support for IE9 and IE10 browsers. Microsoft's support cycle for these products ended in Jan. 2016. Microsoft now supports Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) on Windows 7 and Windows 8, and Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.
As communicated in May of this year, the VUMC IT Cloud Services Team encouraged all IE9 and IE10 users to upgrade to IE11 or an alternative supported browser in order to continue using Box.com after Sept. 26. Alternative browsers include the two latest versions of Chrome and Firefox. Failure to upgrade or select an alternate browser when using Box.com will result in an inability to access Box's web application and receive their latest updates.
