Dayani offers aqua exercise programs to stay fit during fall

Exercising in a pool can benefit everyone from athletes to those with arthritis by building strength, cardiovascular fitness and balance, while being easy on the joints.

Aquatic fitness doesn't need to stop when the weather turns cool. The Dayani Center at Vanderbilt has one of the largest indoor warm-water pools in Nashville and offers 14 aqua fitness classes weekly, ranging from Arthritis Foundation water exercise to Aqua Zumba, taught by nationally certified instructors. No physician's referral is needed for membership.

Dayani offers four-class passes for $10/class. Membership, which allows access to all classes and amenities, is $67/month for individuals and $105 for families. Reduced rates are available for those 65 years and older, and the first class is always free.
