Program for LGBTI Health hosting "Dining Out for Life" event, April 18
Vanderbilt Program for LGBTI Health is hosting "Dining Out For Life" at Provence Breads and Café. The event will be Tuesday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and benefits Nashville CARES, the primary agency in Middle Tennessee helping people with HIV/AIDS.
Thirty percent of the proceeds of meals during that time will be donated to Nashville CARES and used to supplement HIV testing, nutrition, counseling and other support services. Staff from the Vanderbilt Program for LGBTI Health will be there to greet you and share informally about the latest advancements in HIV/AIDS treatment and research.
Nashville CARES is partnering with 80 area restaurants throughout the day, and some people plan to eat all three meals out at different participating restaurants to benefit Nashville CARES.
