Volunteers 2-25 years old needed for Rett Syndrome study

Vanderbit researchers are looking for healthy volunteers between the ages of 2-25 years old to participate in an ERP (evoked response potential) to help learn more about how children with Rett syndrome and Rett-related disorders are affected by movement and cognitive impairments.

Researchers want to compare them to typically developing children to look at differences and similarities. The purpose of this study is to understand how the brains of children with Rett syndrome and related disorders process sensory information in hopes that the information can be used to measure effectiveness of future treatments.

Participation involves one yearly visit for three years. The duration of each visit is 1.5-2 hours. Participants are compensated for their time.
