Lights! Camera! Epic!: eStar go live video contributions wanted
A message from the Epic Team in VUMC Health Information Technology:
Thursday morning marks an important event in Vanderbilt’s history, as we make the official transition to eStar. To commemorate this moment, we’re putting together a celebratory video and need your help.
We’re hoping faculty and staff will share videos of your teams at Go Live. These videos could be any countdowns or celebrations you have in your departments, video of the first person in your group logging onto eStar, Super Users arriving in your areas, etc. The quality isn’t as important as it is that you have helped us capture this exciting time.
Your video could very well end up in our “final cut” and forever live on as part of VUMC history!
As you shoot your video, please keep a few things in mind:
- Keep patients or their families out of the shot (unless you have written consent)
- Avoid capturing patient information (e.g., screen shots)
- Ensure a viewer can’t see private employee information such as login/password details
- Shoot all videos in “landscape” mode (holding your phone sideways)
To submit a video, please click on this link, provide the information requested and click on “Upload document” to upload your video.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the launch of eStar.
