New temporary entrance to Children's Hospital opens tomorrow
Patients and visitors who need to access clinics in the Doctors’ Office Tower (DOT) from the first floor of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt will begin using a new temporary entrance set to open Friday, Nov. 3.
The closure is part of a series of upcoming changes to the main Children’s Hospital front entrance and portions of the lobby, set to occur throughout November.
The DOT temporary entrance will provide the only access from the first floor to the DOT elevators throughout a 13-month period. Access to DOT will also still be available from the Children’s Hospital second-floor entrance via the sky bridge off the South garage.
