NIH's Shared Instrument Grant (SIG) Program
The NCRR Shared Instrumentation Grant (SIG) program solicits applications from groups of NIH-supported investigators to purchase or upgrade instruments that cost at least $100,000. The maximum award is $600,000.
Applications may be submitted to the NIH as soon as Feb. 23; the final deadline for application is March 23. NIH limits the proposals from Vanderbilt: each proposal must be for a different type of equipment.
If you or your faculty are planning to apply for a SIG, please go to www.vanderbilt.edu/oor/funding/ and click on the link for the 2010 NIH Shared Instrumentation Grant Program (S10) to submit a pre-proposal no later than Friday, Feb. 12. If necessary, an internal review will held to resolve conflicting proposals.
More information on the program requirements can be found at grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-10-082.html.
