This continuing education program offers a multi-disciplinary overview of major health care-associated infections, with focus on causative microorganisms (including antibiotic resistant bacteria) and current anti-microbial treatments.

Infectious disease experts share concepts of disease transmission, preventive strategies and clinical treatment guidelines. A discussion panel concludes the session, responding to frequently asked questions related to serious infections complicating the clinical course of hospitalized children and adults.
