Biomedical Research Education and Training Office Sponsors the first Postdoctoral Recruitment Event March 7-10

The BRET (Biomedical Research Education and Training) Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is sponsoring the first Postdoctoral Recruitment Event March 7-10.

Thirty-four excellent postdoctoral candidates will be visiting Vanderbilt to meet with faculty and present their research alongside our current postdoctoral fellows and core facilities at the Annual Postdoctoral Research and Shared Resources Symposium on Tuesday, March 9.

We hope you can join us next Tuesday as we welcome our postdoctoral candidate guests and celebrate the outstanding research conducted by our own Vanderbilt postdocs and core facilities.

9-11:50 a.m – Short research talks by postdoctoral candidates (Light Hall, 4th Floor)

11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Invited talks by Vanderbilt postdoctoral fellows and core facility faculty (214 Light Hall)

1:15-3:15 p.m. – Poster presentations by postdoctoral candidates, Vanderbilt postdoctoral fellows, and shared resources core facilities (Light Hall, north lobby and Langford Auditorium lobby)

3:30-4:30 p.m. - Keynote address: Teresa Compton, M.D., executive director, Infectious Disease, Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (214 Light Hall)

4:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony (214 Light Hall)
