Description: This certified CME activity will cover criteria for prescribing the most commonly used controlled substances, statutes in Tennessee regarding the prescription of controlled substances and related penalties, how to recognize drug-seeking patients and use strategies for dealing with their requests for controlled substances, and how to use electronic prescription monitoring systems available in Tennessee.
