Third Annual Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis Walk Saturday, May 22

This May, More than 500 people will join together to take steps and be heard in the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

On Saturday, May 22, from 4-7 p.m. at the Centennial Park Bandshell, Nashville will host the Third Annual Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis. Take Steps is a family-friendly event designed to bring together patients, families, health care providers and the community to raise funds, build awareness and help bring an end to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Several departments from Vanderbilt will participate in this event, including the IBD Clinic and Vanderbilt Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Take Steps raises money through individual and team donations, grants and corporate sponsorship. Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a corporate sponsor of the event. Additionally, the IBD Center and the Vanderbilt Colorectal Surgery staff have formed a team as well.
