FEMA Information Session Today at 6 p.m.
A second information session conducted by Susie Calvert from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be at Vanderbilt University's Sarratt Cinema at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 13.
The first session was held at 8 a.m. this morning, and is archived at www.vanderbilt.edu/flood
The FEMA session will address general questions about federal assistance, housing and disaster recovery. Individual questions should be addressed at one of the area Disaster Assistance Centers, including the one at One Hundred Oaks. http://www.vanderbilt.edu/flood/resources/flood-contacts/#disastercenters.
If you cannot make the FEMA session in person, it will be streamed in real time on the Vanderbilt flood website, where other information may also be found: www.vanderbilt.edu/flood.
Also, remember that the Flood Resource and Coordination Center, set up to help manage the University's response to the flood and its impact on our faculty, staff and trainees, works to link those affected by the flood with resources at Vanderbilt or in the community. Its phone number is 322-4362 and it will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
