Deadline for Completion of Disaster Pay Benefit Verification Request Forms is May 30
Employees who want to claim time off under the University’s disaster pay benefit need to complete a Verification Request Form by May 30.
This benefit is available to employees whose residences were destroyed or otherwise rendered uninhabitable due to the floods on May 1 and 2. All full-time, part-time and term employees (faculty, staff and trainees) whose residences were destroyed or otherwise rendered uninhabitable by the flood are eligible for up to two weeks of paid leave.

The special phone number set up to handle calls to the Flood Recovery and Coordination Center will be disabled as of Friday, May 28.
