Revised Delegation of Authority Policy Available
The Delegation of Authority policy, which governs who can approve and sign various types of contracts and agreements that obligate Vanderbilt, has been updated to better align authority and responsibility, to tighten controls in certain areas and to create a uniform set of authority levels for implementation University-wide. The vice chancellor for Finance and chief financial officer is responsible for maintaining this policy.
A new website has been created to house the policy and related documents, including a list of sub-delegates and an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
The revised policy and sub-delegations are effective immediately.
