Newsom Named Director of Psychological Education for Vanderbilt Kennedy Center's TRIAD
Cassandra Newsom, Ph.D., assistant professor of Pediatrics, has been named director of Psychological Education for the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD).
The appointment recognizes how instrumental Newsom has been in assuming leadership of new TRIAD clinical psychology training and research opportunities across the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, particularly in its University Center for Excellence and Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Training, as well as within the autism evaluation programs in the Division of Developmental Medicine.
“As those of us who have worked with Cassandra during her two years at Vanderbilt can attest, we are fortunate to have her as a colleague,” said Zachary Warren, Ph.D., director of TRIAD. “Her work and expertise represent a powerful contribution to Vanderbilt, our center, and to the families we serve.”
