Bellevue Flood Recovery Information

River Park Cares (RPC) is pleased to announce the opening of the new Bellevue Resource and Recovery Center at 8343 Sawyer Brown Road, located under the power lines, next to the railroad bridge

General hours of operation will be Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every week with "anytime availability" by appointment.

Among other things, RPC will use the facility as a volunteer coordination center from which to dispatch workers to any area of Bellevue. Also, it will be a Rebuild Resource Center with available assistance at obtaining deeply discounted, or even free (if you meet the guidelines) construction materials, cabinetry and/or appliances and many other things. Additionally, the center will be offering access to professional psychological and emotional counseling assistance along with help in filing any additional applications or appeals for funds from FEMA, SBA, We Are Home and others.

We have both skilled and unskilled labor available almost every week (mostly heavier on the weekends) and are able to do many different jobs for those in need. Services include: carpentry, plumbing or electrical work, drywall, interior painting (exterior in the spring), tile work and general handyman finishing touch-up and repairs. The center offers both pre-finish and pre-move in cleaning assistance to those who need it.

Those who have time and want to volunteer to help flood recovery efforts, please call or come by the center anytime and let us know what you can do and when you are available.
