Quality, Safety and Risk Prevention begins weekly quiz; winners get gift card, chance for iPad


Each week through July 24, the department will have a mini-quiz that will include five questions designed to help you easily learn/review quality and safety facts and policies. Each quiz should take you no more than five minutes to complete. Weekly prizes include a $50 gift card from various businesses, including Kroger, Starbucks, Target, Shell, Amazon and Mapco. Tennessee Poison Center physician urges caution with powdered alcohol


Powdered alcohol, marketed under the name Palcohol, was recently approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau for sale in the United States. It is a powder that is packaged in a 4-by-6-inch pouch, to which water can be added to produce an instant alcoholic beverage. Read more...
