BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr. Pawate graduated from Karnatak Medical College, Hubli, India. He completed his internship at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 2000 and his Neurology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC in 2006 where he was the chief resident in 2005-2006. He came to Vanderbilt Medical Center in July, 2006 as a clinical fellow in neuroimmunology. Dr. Pawate joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center July, 2009 as assistant professor in the Department of Neurology.
