Acupuncture and Modern Medicine

Experts say no therapy is as old as acupuncture, which goes back more than 15 hundred years.
The ancient practice of sticking needles into the skin was useful before modern medicine was invented.
And now, the alternative medicine therapy is offered at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
While still in its ‘infant stage’ in the U.S.,
acupuncture patients say it really helps relieve their pain.
