Macular Degeneration Slowly Steals Eyesight

In this video news release Barb Cramer reports on a problem that faces many older folks.

In It’s Macular Degeneration – a disorder that slowly steals eyesight.

In the U.S., 14 million patients suffer from low vision problems and it’s on the rise as baby boomers age.

So far there is no satisfactory solution to ease the problem.

But a Vanderbilt University Medical Center eye doctor has developed special “illuminating” glasses that are helping patients read again.
