Preds Take Ice for Children's Hospital

February 19, 2009

The Nashville Predators will be hitting the ice for the second time this season to benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The National Hockey League team's Feb. 19 game against the St. Louis Blues has been designated “Predators Care for Kids Night,” and 25 percent of all single-ticket sales will be donated to Children's Hospital.

The season's first benefit game in December raised $31,000, and organizers hope to top that amount.

To purchase tickets, go to www.nashvillepredators.com/vanderbilt, click on the Children's Hospital logo, select “find tickets” and enter special offer code “Vanderbilt.” First-time users must create an account.

For additional information or to purchase tickets over the phone, call Brad Gillispie at 770-2114 or e-mail bgillispie@nashvillepredators.com.
