Emergency Whiteboard Has 'Lifesaving Potential'
March 2, 2009Just a few years ago, Vanderbilt Medical Center kept track of patients in the emergency department by using a dry-erase board and a marker.
Many hospitals across the nation still use that type of system, but technology specialists at Vanderbilt have developed a one-of-a-kind information system to track patients more quickly and more safely.
