Read about new minimally invasive hip replacement procedure

photoThe Joint Replacement Center is an interdisciplinary facility located on 21st Avenue South at the Village at Vanderbilt. It combines convenient parking and easy entry with the advantages of proximity to the main hospital and highway access. The staff provides comprehensive care for patients with problematic arthritis and rheumatic diseases. The orthopaedic faculty work in collaboration with rheumatologists, radiologists, occupational and physical therapists, a patient education coordinator, and a social worker – all in the same suite of offices.

The orthopaedic faculty include those of the Joint Replacement division and Spine division of the Orthopaedic Surgery Dept.

The Joint Replacement faculty provide state-of-the-art care for complex and usual hip and knee arthritis, and other degenerative conditions of the hip and knee. Surgical care offered includes total hip and knee replacement surgery, unicondylar knee replacement surgery, surgery for avascular necrosis of the hip or knee, revision ("re-do") hip and knee replacement surgery, and other surgeries for degenerative conditions of the hip and knee.

Please take a moment and review the information on the different types of surgery in which the Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center specializes:
