Dr.
Davis is the Director of the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Surgery's Minimally Invasive Spine
Center which aims to treat leg and low back pain (disc herniations,
spinal stenosis, discogenic pain) using microsurgical techniques.
He has a particular interest in cervical spine problems and minimally
invasive spine surgery. His research interests include clinical
outcome studies that determine the effectiveness of non-operative
and operative spine treatment.
Dr. Davis attended medical school at Georgetown University and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin in 2003. He completed a Cervical and Lumbar Spine Surgery Fellowship in 2004 at the University of Pittsburgh, where he received specialized training in cervical spine disorders and microsurgical techniques.
Dr. Davis enjoys playing golf and hockey. He and his wife, Beth have one child.
