  • Uniforms and Laundry

The Hospital provides and launders eight uniforms for each house officer at no charge. The laundry does not process personal clothing. Uniforms must be returned to the linen room at the completion of service.

  • Keys and Xeroxing

Residents are supplied by the Department of Orthopaedics with keys to the Orthopaedic Library and to the A.L. Brooks Center. In addition, coupons for xeroxing in the Eskind Biomedical Library may be obtained. The central library should not be used to copy material from journals that are available in the orthopaedic library.

  • Meal Tickets

The Hospital provides sleeping quarters and a $7.50 meal ticket for each night a resident is on call.

  • Drugs

The Hospital will provide the house officer and his/her bona fide dependents with drugs that can be obtained free-of-charge from pharmaceutical companies.
