Worming into more labs

The nematode worm C. elegans has captured the interest of a whole new group of investigators. They call themselves the VUrm group, and they are using the worm to tackle questions about ion channel and transporter physiology.

Animal housing improvements

A new small animal vivarium will be constructed atop the six-story Werthan building and renovations to existing Medical Center North facilities will begin in the fall.

Leaders discuss research economics
