Proteomics
is a new catchword for an old research field that encompasses
everything about proteins and how they work. Richard Caprioli
and Andrew Link are developing a new Proteomics Research Resource
that will make the tools of proteomics more accessible to Vanderbilt
investigators.
John Manning
is the director of Research Resources, a new function in the Office
of Research. Manning is putting his research experience and business
know-how to work to strengthen Vanderbilt's research core facilities.
