Clinical Research Description
Dr. Martin's research interests revolve around fusion imaging, nuclear endocrinology, nuclear oncology, and high-energy therapeutics. He has published 43 peer-reviewed articles and 25 book chapters and is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine and of Clinical Nuclear Medicine. He is a past president of the Southeastern Chapter of the Society of Nuclear Medicine (2003-4) and has served on the House of Delegates of the Society of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Martin has co-edited two textbooks: Practical FDG Imaging: A Teaching File and Nuclear Medicine Imaging: A Teaching File.
