Andrea
Antone is a graduate of Colby College (Waterville, Maine). She received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from New York University in 1977. She has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings - outpatient, hand, industrial, and home health. Since 1999 she has been specializing in acute care, post-operative physical therapy for the head and neck cancer patient population at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is currently a member of the Cancer Focus Group and also serves on the hospital Ergonomics Committee. She takes advantage of opportunities to encourage her colleagues, patients, family and friends to “keep moving” by promoting activity of any kind. She swims and participates in the Body Shaping class at Vanderbilt University’s Health Plus employee fitness center.
