Mitch
Bellamy, MS, ATC Mitch is an Assistant Manger at
the Vanderbilt Orthopedic Institute overseeing our Sports Medicine High School
Outreach Program. He currently provides outreach coverage to Hunter’s
Lane High School. Mitch rejoined our staff after spending 3 years as the Head
Football Athletic Trainer for Marshall University. Prior to his stay at Marshall,
Mitch was the Head Athletic Trainer at Belmont University where he oversaw the
coverage of all collegiate sports. Mitch received his B.S., in Athletic Training
from East Tennessee State University in 1997, and his Master’s degree
from Virginia Tech while he performed an assistantship with the football team.
Mitch is married to Amy Bellamy and they have a son, Chase. Mitch enjoys golf
in his spare time. email
